Dan Elron of Accenture believes that those companies that best understand the implications of the IP revolution are best places to benefit from the business opportunities
The move to IP is transforming the way the telecommunications industry operates, says Dan Elron, managing partner, communications industry, at Accenture. But the effect varies widely from country to country. "I wish you could generalize but the regulatory environment and the structures are so different," he told Global Telecoms Business in an interview at Accenture's Global Convergence Forum.
"We see a huge difference in the awareness of the opportunities or the threat derived from IP, even among incumbents in the same geography."
