AT&T may launch seven new smartphones in the first half of 2010. The new phones will include two from Palm in addition to five Android handsets from vendors including Dell, Motorola and HTC.
The US operator, which has had the exclusive rights so far to Apple’s iPhone, is moving towards the Android operating system developed by Google. Its iPhone exclusivity is expected to run out once Apple introduces a CDMA version for Verizon Wireless.
