América Móvil has raised $4 billion in three-part debt sale. The Latin American mobile phone operator, controlled by Carlos Slim, offered $750 million five-year notes to yield 3.672%, $2 billion in 10-year securities to yield 5.083% and $1.25 billion in 30-year bonds to yield 6.222%.

JP Morgan, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs managed the sale. The Mexican company sold about $1.2 billion in peso bonds earlier in March 2010 and about $214 million in Swiss franc-denominated debt.

The company had last offered dollar bonds in October 2009 and had raised $750 million from the sale of 10-year securities.

The company has also secured regulatory and shareholder approval to pursue its buyout of Telmex Internacional and Carso Global Telecom, which offer phone, data and internet services in South America and classified directory services in five nations. GTB
