Motorola has entered into a two-year deal with MTN Group to improve the African company’s network performance. Under the deal Motorola will offer a number of services to MTN including mobile network optimisation and audit services.
Motorola already offers its services to 18 MTN companies operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa. MTN will get a pre-approved ordering process, standard pricing, standard terms and conditions.
In preparation for the 2010 World Cup, MTN, an official sponsor, undertook earlier this year a focused initiative to enhance the network quality using Motorola’s optimisation services.
The various services options that will be available to the MTN Group will also be customised into ‘solution packs’ capable of meeting specific operational requirements. GTB
