New company is Everything Everywhere

The integration of T-Mobile UK and Orange UK has been completed on July 1, with all 16,500 staff of the two companies now working for a new organisation, Everything Everywhere. Shops have not yet been rebranded: they continue for the time being under the old names.
The new operation is headed by Tom Alexander, the former CEO of Orange UK. “The formal integration of our new company, Everything Everywhere Limited, is another major milestone and reflects the rapid progress we have made over the past nine months,” he said.
Other executives are: Neil Macgeorge, VP of products; Simon Frumkin, VP of procurement and supply chain; and Stephen Harris as chief of staff to the CEO.
The company is owned 50-50 by Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom and has a combined customer base of 30 million in the UK. The merger does not affect the parent companies’ operations outside the UK, though it is seen by some as a test for future convergence in the industry.
“Today we have created the country’s biggest communications company,” said Alexander. “As the new leader in the industry, it is our aspiration to give our customers instant access to the world around them, to everything everywhere, through both of our brands, Orange and T-Mobile.” GTB

  • I have t mobile and the reception was pathetic to say the least but now the 3G is always on and the bars look ready to break out of the phone lol
