Telecom NZ names Olson finance chief

Nick Olson promoted to CFO
Telecom New Zealand has appointed Nick Olson as CFO. He will start in his new role from October 1 2010. He has been working with the company since 2002, first in the role of treasurer, then moving to general manager of finance for four years.
Most recently, Olson was working as group controller. In 2008, he also served in an acting capacity as CFO. He headed Telecom’s ultra-fast broadband programme and played a leading role in the development of Telecom’s proposal to the government.
