The International Telecommunication Union is planning to make its Telecom exhibition and conference annual after 2011, when it is due to be held in Geneva.
The secretary general of the ITU, Hamadoun Touré, is putting a business plan together that would mix a fixed location every two years — not necessarily Geneva — with a selection of different places around the world.
