Nokia Siemens Networks sues Vodafone-Hutchison joint venture over disputed $8.2m performance bond

Nokia Siemens Networks has filed a complaint against Vodafone Hutchison Australia over a network performance payout of $A8 million (US $8.2 million). According to the Sydney Morning Herald, NSN alleged that VHA withdrew a network performance bond established by NSN as part of a network upgrade agreement.
VHA had asked NSN to deposit additional $A8 million in the bond. An Australian court has ordered that NSN need not deposit this amount. The court has also ordered VHA to have a minimum of $A10 million until the next hearing on December 7. GTB
