Armenian operator VivaCell-MTS launches LTE network in Yerevan and plans expansion

VivaCell-MTS has launched its LTE network in Armenia, enabling subscribers to use advanced online services, including internet surfing, online gaming and video streaming. The expected capacity of the company’s LTE network is up to 150 megabits a second for download and up to 50 megabits a second for upload.
The service is available in Armenia’s capital city, Yerevan, and the company is planning further expansion into other parts of the country. VivaCell-MTS is charging a connection fee of $52. Users will have to pay a monthly fee of $39 on top. The company is selling its Internet Express package for $208. GTB
