Deutsche Telekom’s Hungarian operation has launched 4G/LTE mobile internet service in most parts of 10 districts of Budapest in Hungary. The German operator is offering the services as part of a 4G mobile internet package.
It previously conducted a three-month extended network testing involving SMEs and business customers.
T-Mobile said that the development of its LTE network is underway and it looks to expand coverage to the whole of Budapest in 2012.
Subscribers can order the 4G package with an $8 discount from the monthly charge until March 31. The package offers 40 gigabytes data and does not include any surcharge for overuse.
T-Mobile is offering the Huawei E398 type stick for using the service, which can be obtained free of charge with a new subscription and a two-year agreement. GTB
