KPN open to ‘serious’ bids, says CFO

Dutch operator will consider serious bids for domestic and overseas assets, says new CFO Eric Hageman

Dutch operator KPN is interested in ‘serious’ offers for its foreign and domestic business, the company’s interim CFO Eric Hageman said, according to Reuters. He added that currently no party had presented bids for the assets.
Hageman recently replaced Carla Smits-Nusteling as KPN’s CFO, after the latter left the firm following disputes over the executive structure.
Meanwhile, the company’s CEO Eelco Blok has stated that KPN and Telefónica are not discussing any tie-up of their respective units, E-plus and O2 in Germany, reports Reuters. GTB
