Econet Wireless-controlled Liquid Telecom has acquired the business of Zimbabwe Online, according to tech news agency Technology Zimbabwe.
ZOL, a VSAT and wireless internet provider, will continue operating as an independent unit for branding and operations. Liquid Telecom, which is active across Southern African regions, will see its internet services in the country expand significantly with this takeover. GTB
