Russian operator Rostelecom has won a tender to buy a 26% stake in Mosteleset for 1.8 billion Russian roubles ($57 million) in cash, reported StockMarketWire.com. The deal, which will be concluded shortly, will see Rostelecom buying 1.74 billion ordinary shares.
Once complete, the deal means that Rostelecom will own 100% of the Moscow operator, which owns data and pay TV networks in Moscow through its wholly-owned unit Mostelecom. The remaining 74% shares are owned by NTK, which was purchased by Rostelecom last year. GTB
