Global Telecoms Business has presented its sixth annual GTB Innovation Awards at a glittering black-tie dinner in London.
All the awards were for projects that involve at least one operator and at least one vendor. Alan Burkitt-Gray, editor of Global Telecoms Business, said: “Since we started in 2007, we have made it our mission to celebrate the work that vendors and operators in the industry are doing together to develop innovative projects in order to better serve the industry’s end customers.”
The dinner was attended by senior executives from as far away as Brazil, Japan, China, South Africa and New Zealand — all of whom had made the trip to London for the awards.
“We’d like to thank everyone from around the world for helping to mark the success the industry is showing in innovating to provide leading services to consumes and businesses,” said Burkitt-Gray. “This is the biggest Innovation Awards dinner we have held since we started.”
The awards were in six categories, including two special editor’s awards. Here is the full list of winners, including the names of the executives who picked up the trophies.
