Sprint working on NFC wallet, says report

Sprint is developing near-field communication based mobile wallet app, called Touch Wallet, according to an Android Central report.
The site has posted two screenshots obtained from leaked presentation slides from an insider at Sprint, reported CNET. According to the available screenshots, the service, which will require users to enter a password, will support loyalty cards and credit cards.
NFC Times reported last week that Sprint is working on a mobile-payment service. Sprint told NFC Times: “In keeping with our open approach, Sprint is actively working with others in the mobile payment ecosystem. We will continue to bring practical, easy-to-use mobile payment solutions to customers on Sprint devices.” But Sprint refused to give details.
The mobile-payment service could compete with Google Wallet as well as Isis, developed by AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless. GTB
