Colombia operator UNE has launched its commercial LTE network with Huawei. The company has started offering services in Bogota and Medellin in the first stage of deployment.
Juan Ignacio Palacio, UNE’s international business vice president, said: “UNE is pleased to be partnering with Huawei on this important launch of commercial LTE services in Latin America.”
The operator started offering LTE broadband services last year and selected Huawei as its technology partner.
Palacio added: “We are committed to providing our customers with the best services, and believe that Huawei’s innovative solution and rich commercial experience will enable our customers to enjoy an unparalleled mobile broadband experience.” GTB
