NTT expands Tier 1 global IP network with points of presence in Budapest, Bucharest and Sofia

Japanese operator NTT Communications has extended the coverage of its Tier 1 global IP network in Europe with new points of presence in the cities of Budapest, Bucharest and Sofia. The new global IP network POPs will allow NTT to enable service providers and content networks to gain access to its network.
The Japanese operator hopes to tap the opportunities provided by eastern Europe to the global IP transit industry and looks to build on the established presence of its European unit, NTT Europe, in the region. GTB
